Utah Masters is excited to finally have an official meet schedule published! Although this may be a working document, we are happy to begin promoting our first meet of the season, the Mile High Meet in Heber, Utah on Saturday, September 21, 2019. This is a short course METERS meet, so be sure to note that when you are entering your seed times.
Coming in November is the well-known South Davis Masters Meet (ahem…) and this year we are hosting the Northwest short course zone Championships!
What does that mean?
It means that you can come, swim short course meters in a 2-day masters meet! We will have a catered BBQ that Friday night with music and a swimmer social. All proceeds will go to a memorial to honor a South Davis swimmer, Jason Coyle who passed away at practice. It will be quite the event!
Coming in 2020 is our first coordinated travel meet to the fabulous Las Vegas, NV. Traditionally held the 2nd or 3rd week of January, Las Vegas Masters puts on an awesome meet and we will coordinate Utah Swimmers to take a long weekend and attend this great meet. Times and detail are TBA.
Gearing up in February we are looking-forward to the ever-amazing QUAC Ski N’ Swim meet to be held late February/early March. Details are in the works, but plan for a great meet and a weekend full of fun social events!
We will hold the Utah Masters State Meet in March in Salt Lake City and help support any swimmers getting ready for Nationals in San Antonio, TX at the end of April.
I am grateful to all the teams willing to host a meet and we would be happy to help support any other teams in the future add to our meet line up! We have a great season ahead of us!
